Senior Mass
  

All Families are Invited to Attend!


  • Senior Mass and Rose Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 3rd at 8:20AM in our school gym.

  • Juniors and Seniors need to arrive by 7:30 AM in GYM for practice, FORMAL MASS DRESS will be required for all students.

  • May Crowning before Mass: Abby Lucero and Jack Meifert, House School Chairs 23-24


  • Mass: Fr. Joe to preside

  • Formal Mass dress for ALL students

Following Mass:

  • Senior Class Speakers: Sabrina Damien, Nicholas Cruz

  • Presentation of Valedictorian and Salutatorian Awards

  • Junior/Senior Rose Ceremony

  • Senior picture will be taken right after Rose Ceremony in the bleachers






Formal Mass Dress (or Special Occasion) 
On designated Holy Days or special occasions (i.e. Senior Mass, Grandparents’ Mass, etc.), students will be required to wear formal Mass dress. These days will be announced in advance. 
NOTE: Previous guidance regarding modesty and fit of clothing applies for formal Mass dress. 
Denim is never considered dressing up, thus denim is not allowed for formal Mass dress.


Mass Dress includes the following: 
Young Men 
Modest dress slacks, dress shirts, ties, crew neck sweaters, sports coats, suits, belts, dark socks, dress shoes (no athletic shoes). 
Young Women 
Modest dress slacks, skirts, crew neck blouses or dresses (knee length), suits, crew neck sweaters, and dress shoes/sandals with a heel strap. Open-toed sandals maybe worn only for formal Mass dress and not for everyday dress. A light sweater or cover-up must be worn over sleeveless dresses as Mass dress. (See requirements for dresses in the family handbook.)

  • Mass: Bishop Golka will preside. The 6PM Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation.

  • Sunday parking for the Baccalaureate Ceremony is available at the church and at the bank parking lot located next to the church.


  • Seniors will sit with their families for Baccalaureate Mass and Awards Presentation

  • Students should wear green graduation gowns (zipped up), cords, and stoles, but no caps (mortarboards)

  • Awards Ceremony will be held directly after Mass in the church

  • Danny Cuadrado will be our official photographer

St. Mary's Graduation, Monday, May 20th at 9AM, at St. Mary's Cathedral


  • The church will open at 8:15AM on Monday morning.

  • Seniors are to report to the basement area by 8:30AM for getting ready and lining up

  • Seating for families will be first come first serve

  • Some seats and parking spots were purchased by Senior families at our GALA and will be reserved for those families.

Summer School
  Summer Dress Code 

Summer dress code is slightly more relaxed than the everyday dress code. All clothing must be free of holesand tears. Clothing should maintain the modesty and decency of our everyday dress code. Jeans, cargo pants,and shorts are allowed. Shorts should be mid-thigh or longer, and dresses and skirts must be knee-length orlonger. No athletic shorts are allowed except during PE class. Shirts/T-shirts/blouses must not have anyreferences to alcohol, drugs, crime, or any other impropriety. Flip flops are not allowed. Sandals with heelstraps, boots, and sneakers are allowed. Shoes should be closed-toe. Students may NOT wear hats, sunglasses,slippers, sweatpants, or leggings. Students must be clean shaven and clean in appearance.
