Colorado Springs, CO – College Board announced that St. Mary’s High School has been named to the 2024 Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning Bronze distinction.
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
St. Mary’s High School had 32% of seniors take at least one AP Exam during high school, all of whom scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 20% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams!
St. Mary’s High School is proud to have nine AP courses offered by seven of our teachers.
Tom Maj, President of St. Mary’s High School said, “St. Mary's High School has consistently ranked in the top 5 of area high schools for academics. The Class of 2023 was number one in the city and the Class of 2024 ranked second on the SAT. We're proud to announce that St. Mary's High School has been named to the AP School Honor Roll as a Bronze school based on the number of students from the 2023 - 2024 academic year that scored a 3+ or higher on at least 3 AP Tests. Congratulations students. From the Class of 2024: James Beam, Grace Chaikaew, & Patricia Gonzalez. From the Class of 2025: Siena Ancona, Sarah Hall, Antonia Jungling, Rachel Limb, Josh Onoja, Emily Sauley, Veronica Williamson.”
College Board’s Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) enables students to pursue college-level studies—with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both—while still in high school. Through AP courses in 38 subjects, each culminating in a challenging exam, students learn to think critically, construct solid arguments, and see many sides of an issue—skills that prepare them for college and beyond.

We would like to thank the class of 1974 for their very generous donation of $1,000 for our tuition assistance program. We would LOVE for anyone in the class of 1974 to drop any pictures from your reunion in the comments section.
